It began to take form twenty-five years ago, when the author, Barbara Percival, was prodded by an inner voice to study the Holy Grail.  She read many research books at that time, and it was then that she realized how entwined the name Percival was with the Holy Grail. It was years later when she was prodded to write a novel from her perspective, which is to lead the reader beyond the cloud of controversy to a completely new way of thinking and ultimately towards a new way of being.

The story unfolds when Bernadette is given an ancient secret surrounding the Holy Grail and her inquisitive nature leads her to the realization that the Grail is only a very small piece of a much larger puzzle. Seeking out Samuel Sinclair, the author of a novel about Da Vinci’s code, the two join forces and begin a journey into territory hitherto uncharted, and their exploration takes them through a labyrinth of personal, political and evolutionary discoveries that are often enriching, occasionally dangerous and ultimately explosive, as they are swept into a realm beyond legends.
